The Trac-Bar locates the body in relation to the axle. When lifted the axle shifts off center. This is definitely noticeable with lifts over 2 inches. If your vehicle is already lifted view it from the front and see if the tires are centered underneath the body. Other manufactures offer a bracket to lower the stock bar at the frame mounting point and some offer a bracket that bolts to the axle. You may get too much or not enough body shift using these types of brackets. Stress created by the extra leverage of the longer bracket can also lead to stress cracks in the frame rail. The axle mount brackets never stay tight, and actually lower the axle mounting point, putting the track bar in a worse angle.

Due to the popularity of long travel suspension kits over 5 inches, the tie rod end type trac bars wear quicker and limit travel. With the Rusty’s TB-200 trac bar you will get full suspension travel without binding from the trac bar.

The Rusty’s TB-200 is a complete adjustable trac bar and frame mount, the trac bar has poly bushings at both the axle and the frame mount. The new trac bar frame mount is laser cut of 3/16 steel and precision CNC formed. The trac bar is 1.25 x .250 DOM tubing and the bar and mount is black powder coated.
